3900 Wisconsin Avenue, NW
3900 Wisconsin Avenue is a well known Washington, DC property located immediately north of the McLean Gardens neighborhood. Occupying 550 feet of frontage along Wisconsin Avenue NW, the site includes approximately 9.71 acres of land that is bound by a residential neighborhood to the south, Glover-Archbold Park to the west, and a private office building to the north.
The site is improved with a four story, approximately 228,000 square foot building, which is currently home to the headquarters of Fannie Mae. The front lawn and portions of the building were originally constructed by Equitable Life Insurance Company in 1958 and 1962.
Fannie Mae acquired the property in the 1970's and constructed an additional office wing and a parking structure.
In November 2016, a joint venture between (NASH) and purchased 3900 Wisconsin Avenue.

Fannie Mae plans to vacate the property within the next several years and relocate its workforce to a new office campus in downtown Washington, DC. Fannie Mae will continue to occupy the building until its move into the new facility is complete.
